Three unidentified New Zealand nationals are still missing after their boat possibly crashed by a tsunami wave, which occurred last Monday off Mentawai Islands in West Sumatra.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand has said that families of the missing persons haven’t received any news from them so far after the disaster.

Embassy of New Zealand in Jakarta has requested a help from the Padang’s Search and Rescue Team to conduct a search of the missing persons, Kompas.com reported.
